Colonel Mike Gremillion is the Deputy Director of Weather, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington D.C. The directorate is responsible for developing and implementing weather doctrine, policies, plans, programs, and standards. He plans, programs, and budgets for Air Force Weather resources and manages the execution of the $350 million per year weather program. He interfaces with Air Force Major Commands and the U.S. Army regarding full exploitation of Air Force weather resources and technology. He also directs national and international interagency engagements to include White House, Congress, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NASA, Federal Aviation Administration, National Science Foundation, National Academy of Science, Intelligence Community and allies. He has served in various positions throughout the Air Force Weather community in his 25 years of service. He has a Master of Science degree in Meteorology from Texas A&M University.
